Liz Goodwin is a visual journalist originally from Dallas, Texas. She is a senior majoring in journalism at the University of Missouri – Columbia with an emphasis in photojournalism. She loves bright colors, cooking, and storytelling - especially stories about conservation, innovation, and culinary creation. She could eat Mexican food every single day and her favorite snack is Smartfood white cheddar popcorn.
Tristen Rouse is a visual journalist born and raised in the Missouri Ozark Mountains. He draws on those small-town roots to explore topics surrounding economics, culture and social justice. Much of his recent work has been at the crossroads where contemporary events meet introspection. Tristen currently studies at the Missouri School of Journalism, where he is a senior majoring in photojournalism with a minor in political science and a provost’s certificate in digital global studies. He previously studied at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, having been selected to its prestigious international photography program. His favorite show is 'The Newsroom.'
Madi Winfield is a visual journalist and editor from Kansas City, Mo. Her work focuses on photo editing, social media, web design and interactive graphics. She is interested in the intersection and analysis of various types of media — in practical terms, collaborating to most effectively produce, package and tell stories. Madi will graduate from the University of Missouri in spring 2021 with a bachelor’s in photo and visual editing. She has worked at POLITICO Europe, the Columbia Missourian and Sporting Kansas City. Her favorite movie is 'You’ve Got Mail.'
